HISTORY

Recycle Here! was formed in 2005 to address the need for recycling options in the City of Detroit. What began as a grassroots, neighborhood, recycling event has evolved into a city-wide, fully-funded, neighborhood based recycling program. To date, over 2,000,000 pounds of recyclable material has been collected from over 50,000 citizens visiting Recycle Here!’s drop off facilities.
